πŸ“– #25 ~ Onboard

☔️10C Thursday 12th April 2018 ~ Still feeling the effects of my recent Flu and some long birding days recently I've decided to stay onboard for a few days, skipping Brandon Marsh today, in an attempt to finally shake the bug. However, I did take a brief stroll around Napton Reservoir for some fresh air on Wednesday afternoon in what was once again very depressing conditions, drizzle, mist and low cloud!

One of two Yellow Wagtails ~ Napton Reservoir.
Even many of the 100s of Swallows on site decided to give up for the day, taking to the nearby trees for a spot of preening. This also included a few House and Sand Martins. The only brightness to an otherwise grey day was a couple of Yellow Wagtails and the only two birds in any mood for singing were a single Chiffchaff and Blackcap.
